An American born and raised in rural Georgia, Angela has spent her entire life living in the state. In 2020, she retired from a career in public health. She worked with some of the planet’s smallest life forms – deadly viruses.  After retirement, her focus has evolved from microbiology to biology on a larger scale and she made the decision to dedicate the rest of her life pursuing her passion of wildlife photography and conservation.

About Angela

Although she is passionate about all species of wildlife, she has a special place in her heart for the animals of Africa and those in the underwater world. Both are vastly different realms that she finds intriguing and inspiring.

Angela is dedicated to ethical wildlife photography. For her, it is of utmost importance to capture wildlife behaving naturally in their wild habitat without interference or stress.

She hopes to be able to use her photos to inspire and influence others to respect and take care of our planet and all the fascinating creatures that we share it with.  Her goal is to instill a sense of responsibility in people to protect the earth’s crucial yet fragile ecosystems, both land and sea, and an understanding that not doing so will bring devastating effects to the creatures of this earth including humans.
